In addition to funding student-athlete scholarships, The Deacon Club also plays a fundamental role in facility improvements through the support of our generous donors. Capital project donations provide the revenue necessary to build and maintain first-class facilities, which bring vitality and visibility to Wake Forest Athletics. Deacon Club donors have helped bring many projects to life such as: LJVM Coliseum, Hooks Stadium, Kentner Stadium, Spry Soccer Stadium, the Miller Center, the Golf Practice Complex, Bridger Field House and the Deacon Tower at BB&T Field.
The Deacon Club is currently raising funds for a variety of projects including continued improvements at BB&T Field, the construction of a new tennis facility, further improvements to Wake Forest Baseball Park, construction of a golf house, and renovations to Spry Soccer complex. The driving vision behind the majority of Wake Forest capital projects is to provide our student-athletes with first-class facilities while creating the best overall game-day experience for our fans.
Deacon Club members earn two priority points for every $100 donated toward a capital project.
