Beginning in the 2018-19 academic year, the Sports Nutrition staff has expanded to include two new interns, Lucas Wilkerson and Carly Fancher. Their duties include both individual and team consultations, menu preparation, product procurement as well as general supervision of the student-athlete fueling station.
The increased staff has been a vital addition to the overall support of our mission to provide student-athletes with a top-tier nutrition program. Under the leadership of our Director of Sports Nutrition, Kate Ruley, the nutrition program has fast become one of the hallmarks of our Athletic Department. Increased staffing has made it possible to impact even more student-athletes and programs and provide an even higher level of service to our student-athletes and staff. We hope to enjoy continued growth in the years to come.
